Star Wars PagesAmidala was Queen of the Naboo People. She was instrumental in the freeing of her planet from a Trade Federation blockade. She would eventually marry Anakin Skywalker and bear him a set of twins, Leia and Luke.
She entrusted the safety of one of her twins, Luke to the Jedi Knight Obi Wan Kenobi when her husband was turned to the Dark Side of the Force by Emperor Palpatine. She eventually would entrust the safety of her other child, Leia to Bail Organa of Alderaan upon her death.
