Welcome aboard the Interstellar Alliance's Whitestar Class vessel 'Understanding', also known as 'Whitestar 5'.

Designed to combat the Shadow threat, the vessel served with distinction in both the Shadow war of 2260 and the Terran civil war of 2261. Equipped witha mixture of Vorlon and Minbari technology she can hold her own against vessels three times her size.

She also carries a small compliment of Minbari fighters, equipped with the latest stealth technology that Minbari scientists have developed.

Named after the Volon saying, 'Understanding is a three edged sword, your side, their side and the truth.'; her mission is to understand the truth in any situation that she is assigned to. One of her most notable assignments was in the transportation of Entil'Zha Susan Ivanova and other ISA dignatories to and from the decommisioning ceremony for the famed space station Babylon 5.

Since that time she has been taken out of service and retrofitted with the latest in ISA technology. She is due to re-enter service shortly when she is schedulled to escort the new Entil'Zha Anthony Kelly to his swearing in ceremony at the ISA headquarters in Tuzenor provence on Minbar.
